We forgot to update you on Basjia's 8 month mark. My girl is now 85lbs and is doing great. We are teaching her that she can't barry her ball in the couch. She thinks she can hide it in there so the Doberman won't find it. Funny Girl. Talk to ya later!

My goodness! 125 lbs. at 8 1/2 mos.?? I thought my baby from Terri was big. Of course Brewer is a little over a year and probably weighs about 120 lbs., but he is EXTREMELY tall. I take him to play with a bunch of other Danes a couple times a month and he towers over them. He's all leg...And I think all his weight goes to his tail and his head :) Anyways, I just wanted to say that I agree with you, I would NEVER have purchased a dog from an unreliable breeder and Terri has been great about answering all of my questions. She gave me a great baby and I would recommend her to a

In response to the last entry reguarding the adult dogs. I have one of Terri's pups, Comanche, from Chantilly and Zuess. I am also a former Vet Tech, was for 14 yrs. before I became disabled and I will tell you that I would never buy a dog from a person that I thought had somthing to hide. I went down to Penrose and looked at the adult dogs and the area that they live in. Terri's dogs are the best looking Danes I have seen in many years and the area they live in are clean and they can get almost to a full run before they reach the fence at the other end of the run. I am only telling you this because the things I have seen coming out of puppy mills would make a grown, hard, adult cry. Terri and Bobby are wonderful breaders and they have wounderful, beautiful animals. By the way, Comanche is 8 1/2 mo. old and he is huge, he weighs about 125 lbs. and has the most beautiful head and chest, he is so well bred, his body all around is thick and husky. No fat on this boy. Thanks for our woulderful, fireplace hog (he loves the heat that comes off of the gas fireplace).

Ocober 20th was Basjia's 7 month old mark. She weighed in at 80lbs. She is doing great. She graduated Beg. Obedience school, but she still likes to get into mischief. I wouldn't expect less for her though! She is doing real good with our new born Mikayla. She is the first to greet her when she hears a cry at night. It's cute. Talk to ya later! P.S.Her sister Sadie the Doberman is doing good and I think she thinks she is a Great Dane. LOL

Terri, just wanted to say thanks for showing us around last Sunday, You have some beautiful dogs. I appreciate the fact that you take very good care of your animals and it was an honor to meet a breeder with high standards and love for their animals. I also wanted to let you know that I picked out a name for the black pup I picked out, I would like to name her Dutchess. I cant wait to come and visit in a couple of weeks and once again thank you for showing us your awesome Danes. I would definately recommend you to anyone as a top breeder. Sincerely, Daryl Rolando

She is in obedience school right now and she is getting better and better everyday. She loves to give kisses, I trust me, if she wants to kiss you, she will find a way too! Thanks again and we will talk to ya soon. P.S. We wish we could make the re-union! Sorry :-(

Hi Terri and Bobby- Just dropping you a line to tell you how Jupiter is doing. He is just the sweetest dog. He gives "kisses" to anyone that will let him. He's also incredibly well behaved. Thank goodness for that because he's 15 weeks now and he's already 61 lbs. Aside from being well behaved, he's also a big show-off. He quickly learns the tricks that we teach him and loves to perform in front of company. Besides the basic tricks like sit, down, and wait he has learned other tricks like crawl, paw, and kennel. He has even learned to touch a bell that is mounted on the wall next to our front door when he wants to go outside. Thank you for raising such wonderful puppies and I'll make sure to keep you updated on how Jupiter is doing. Best wishes for the new litters- Kat

I've often thought about getting a Great Dane again. Do you ever get all black Danes? I think the Great Dane is the best of the breeds. I've really enjoyed your website. Terri, I just looked at your pictures of the reunion and I was so surprised to see two dogs that look just like Comanche & Tally. The dogs are on the third page and they are the two merels standing nose to nose. My son was not sure that they were not Comanche and Tally. Keep up the good job and I was sad to here that you lost one of your kids. Tally is here now and she and Comanche are playing upstairs while her mom and kids got to a family outing (sorry the butterfly place does not allow dogs).

I just wanted to update everyone about my Velveteen Bella dog! She is now over four months old and over 50 lbs! She is soooo soft, and a great family pet! She is full of love and lotsa mischief! She has been fixed, and had her hernia repaired at the same time. I've been working with a local trainer and he is going to help me get her certified as a therapeutic friend for kids. I want to take her to school with me and meet my special needs kids. We absolutely love having her and would love to get a second Dane someday. We also just recently found the dog park in Colorado Springs, and found we can take her into Home Depot, Lowes, and into the Skysox games on Wednesday nights. She is getting to be a very social puppy! All is well, Hillary & Gary Douglas

Very beautiful litter of pups, and nice looking parents too. We own 3 Danes at this time, 2 Black females ages 7&5, and a Blue male age 3. Not breeders-we just love the Danes and want to keep our family well rounded. 3 is a good number for us right now, Stella is aging and has resolving FCE(paralysis in one rear leg) so a pup could infringe on the attention she needs from us. She's our first Dane-my sweetheart. When the time is right for us I'll check out your web site. Respectfully, Kay & Cal D.

Hello, I loved this pages. It has been a dream all my live to have an Great Dane, here in Iceland I think there are only 5-8 danes. In the nerest future I will try to find a solid breeder, who can and will sell me a puppy and send it over sea. So if you could be at any help I would be more than happy . Many many thanks and best wishes from Iceland; )

I have been interested in getting a great dane since we moved here, (we are on an acre), I feel we finally have enough space for one. I'm looking for a family pet, we won't show, I have 3 boys and want a good family dog. I am looking for a fawn or blue colored male puppy. I am also wondering about price. Also how far from Salt Lake City are you? I really enjoyed your site, I loved the pictures, Danes are such beautiful dogs.

Hi, I was just looking at your site and it is great. I love the pics or your pups. I really would like to see more on your site, like what the parents are like(size, diet, ect.). Your dogs look to be of good size and health. What type of exercise program do you have for them? My pal Goku, is a two and half year old male, merel. He is in great health, he had a run in with parvo when he was a pup but he pulled throw like a champ. I have fed him science diet from the begining and he is now well over 150lbs. I never got his ears, cliped because I feal that it takes away from the beauty of the breed. Any how if you could send me some info on what you feed your dogs I would be thankful. V/R Jon Londire

Watching your litters. Very nice way you show others how the pups change each week. You do a great job. We are thinking about a new family member. We have a Merle now by the name of "Hawk". He's six years old and is so special to us. He's had surgery on his vertbrae as a pup and the bloat at fours years old. A real hard life for six but he is so special. His sister died at four of the bloat, also. We're so scared of it happening again, but just love the Dane breed. Going to see how far Penrose is from us. Thanks, we will keep our eye out on the pups. Kris and Rocky

Hi, Terri! Just a quick note to those of you who are looking for wonderful Great Danes. We adopted a two-year-old mantle from Terri and he is, without a doubt, the best, most well-natured dog we have ever known. We feel very blessed to have found him and to have found Penrose Kennels - keep up the good work!

We are moving to Colorado in August and will be ready to get our dream dog. We want a Blue male. I was so pleased to see that the Danes in your photos have floppy ears;we prefer the "natural" look. Where do I start? Your puppies are adorable.

Hi....I have an 11 month old Dane, as well as a 2 yr old Weimaraner. My husband has agreed to buy us a new pup for our 10th wedding anniversary (March 22nd), if I agree to give up fostering. (I foster rescue Weims and Danes). We will then have 3 dogs in the house, and that is about all that will fit! <g> I would love some more information about your up coming litter.....I see they are due mid-March, and I have been checking your site for an update. I eagerly await your response.
