We do maintain a "waiting list" for future litters, particular colors, etc. We do require a (non refundable) $50.00 reservation deposit, a completed puppy questionnaire and a signed adoption contract to be on the list. This shows us genuine interest in our puppies. (not just shopping around) This also gives us an accurate idea of the number of "truly interested" people. Then I can give an accurate answer to folks asking "where would I be on the list?" We use to just put people on a waiting list. Then when the puppies were born and the time came to contact the people on the list, most had "found something else" or changed their minds or a hundred other things. Very frustrating. This way we can maintain the list for truly interested people waiting to adopt their "dream puppy" .
